OC720.)COLLECTION OF TWENTY-FIVE (25) WWI BRITISH CAP BADGES: handsome collection of twenty-five WWI era British army regimental cap badges still mounted to a very old 11x13" brown cardboard panel. Each cap badge is correctly identified with hand-inscribed india ink identification (fountain pen, not ball point) pen. All of these badges are in a great state of preservation and each has that typical brass slip hook on the reverse. All of the badges that display a crown as part of the design show the characteristic 'king's' crown and the badges are the George V type period. Just as a sampling these include the following regiments (many are scarce): Royal Bucks Hussars; 16th The Queen's Royal Lancers; King Edward's Horse; The King's Own Royal Regiment; 12th Royal Lancers; 5th Irish Lancers. By the way, I painstakingly checked the identity of each badge and these are all correctly identified. 

This set is a bargain at $16 each....typically these sell for around $30+ easily!
