OC859.)WWII BRITISH RAF SPITFIRE 8-DAY INSTRUMENT PANEL CLOCK: 2 1/2" wide black bakelite body, nearly 2" deep. Has intact glass face and green luminescent dial and white luminescent hands. In a great state of preservation. Face is marked with this clock's designation 'MK.2D  6A/1275' (one of the recognized models of the Spitfire instrument panel clock). Also marked with serial number '13900/43' (that would be the date 1943). Reverse of frame is marked with king's crown motif and letters 'AM' for Air Ministry.
