US1127.)WWII SLEEVE PATCH, 158^th INFANTRY REGIMENT: very rare and desirable sleeve patch, US-made machine embroidered on twill and removed from a uniform. Shows light age and soiling. Most of these when encountered are found to be machine embroidered on blue wool; this one is the standard US-made Schiffli machine embroidered type, cut-edge. Has very light paper and glue residue on the back from prior scrapbook mounting. EXC+++
