I spent 40 years in the paper manufacturing business and lots of my career was with the preservation of paper (ephemera), security papers and paper forensics. 10x14" heavy cream-shade paper with printed DRK motif at top. This is a German navy type award with 'DER OBERBEHLSHABER DER KRIEGSMARINE' at base (Per the German Naval High Command). At base is crisply embossed national eagle and wreath. In a good state of preservation, a couple of minor wrinkles and a few tiny spots here and there (not detracting at all). EXC++++
