Tailored of a quality LW blue-gray herring-bone-twill wool and piped around the crown and above/below the black mohair wool cap band with golden-rod yellow wool for flight personnel. Both LW cap eagle and cockade are stamped aluminum....orignal to this cap. Black leather chin strap with black-finished metal adjustment buckles. Smooth black patent leather visor with green checkered underside. With coffee-with-cream genuine pigskin leather sweat band; soft and supple and intact. Stitching is strong and perfect. Interior is lined with brown oil cloth and has flawless clear moisture shield which is the correct celluloid composition (like old photographic film). Crown of cap is printed with silvered details being this cap maker's logo (3rd Rch era visor cap design) and 'LEPARO, Fabrikmarke' and 'Leonhard Paulig, Rottenburg/Oder'. Ink stamped inside with size '57 1/2' and date '1939'. No mothing whatsoever and just totally superb+. EXC++++++
