G735.)SS DAGGER, RZM TYPE: in a superb state of preservation all around. Blade is still bright and mirror-like, deeply etched 'Meine Ehre heisst Treue' SS motto. Blade shows light in/out wear from scabbard action and subtle cross-graining workmanship. Blade is flawless, no oxidation blemishing, tip is sharp and not blunted. Reverse ricasso is etched with RZM logo and SS runes along with maker's code '120/34'. Intact ebony wood grip, shows a couple of minor scuffs and creases here and there. Tight cross-guard to grip fit, no gaps. Cross-guards are nickel-silver finished as is the pommel nut at top. No burrs to the pommel nut. Back of lower cross-guard is die-struck with SS Gruppe number 'I'. Both the eagle and SS runic button are snugly and perfectly  fitted. No cracks to grip nor any chips to wood....perfectly intact. Smooth black enamel finished steel scabbard. Finish is nearly intact with only a few minor scuffs and scrapes. A few tiny blemishes here and there.
