Below is burning structure. Inscription around border is 'FUR VERDIENSTE UM DAS FEUERLOSCHWESSEN' (For Merit in the Fire Fighting Service). Reverse has horizontal pin and catch with raised relief maker 'PREUSS.STAATSMUNZE' (Prussian State Min in Berlin) and precious metal content 'SILBER 900 FEIN'. Comes in 2x3" hinged black leatherette case with functioning spring button catch at front. Interior is lined with plush blue velvet and is slotted to perfectly hold hinge/pin assembly. Upper interior is lined with padded white satin. Case is in exceptional condition; badge itself is perfect too and shows a very attractive sterling silver patina. EXC++++
