Attractively tarnished from the years and shows fine details as it should. Has pointed pin on back with hooded catch. Note that the original German owner had a safety catch added by a jeweler. This is a hinged, fine wire that folds over and holds the pin in place (so that it cannot slip out of the hooded catch). Correctly maker marked at the base with familiar maker for this rare badge 'FR. KLETT, KARLSRUHE'. EXC++++
