RD3529.)GERMAN WWII ASSAULT PACK FRAME AND BAG: shows evidence of wear and age from field use so no doubt once a reenactor's A-frame. Khaki canvas frame with rivets and intact stitching. Constructed identically to a real one, no difference and with the accumulated age and wear, very convincing. Looks genuine period. Gray finished magnetic hardware. Leather trim too is soft and supple. Every feature and detail including the metal tips to straps (even maker-marked metal fittings). Olive green canvas bag with correct rivets, brown leather tab inside, tightening cords, black leather tabs on the reverse. EXC++++
