RD3568.)PRUSSIAN WWI ENLISTED RANKS FIELD SERVICE TUNIC: really fine older piece of tailoring, German army field gray wool, eight-button front. All of the buttons including those on the shoulder straps and pockets are brass imperial crown type, WWI Prussian. Tunic is heavy and well made. On shoulders are machine sew-in type straps being matching field gray wool, white wool piped and chain-stitch machine embroidered with red regimental number '1'. Sleeves have faux turn-back cuffs, zig-zag stitching beneath the collar. Pockets at each hip with buttoned flaps. An original piece of '14 Iron Cross II ribbon in the second button hole. Crown buttons and metal belt ramp hooks on the lower back. Interior of tunic is lined with gray brushed cotton and has inside pocket. Numerous ink stamps inside including '1915' date. Nothing on this uniform glows. Size is about a US 44 long. EXC++++
