RD3855.)CASED IMPERIAL PRUSSIAN POUR LE MERITE: splendid vintage 1960's copy and one made to fool for sure. 54mm wide from point-to-point and constructed of a quality gold alloy. Aged too and handsome with flawless blue glass enameling. Finely detailed Prussian eagle motifs in each quadrant. Reverse of PLM is equally as attractive. Has pebbled pie-shaped clasp at top and finely made golden loop that's '800' marked. Comes in circa 1980's dark blue leatherette case, hinged and 3 1/2 x 6" dimensions. PLM itself is surely 1960's however the case is around the 1980's. Interior of case is lined with plush blue velvet and is slotted to perfectly accommodate cross. Has deep channel above for 17" long folded PLM ribbon, 50mm wide as it should be. Ribbon does not glow under a black light. Consider the case as a gift from us. EXC++++
