No, this is not one of those current junky ones found on the market today....this one would fool you, it's that good. 43x50mm badge with fine silver alloy base, fine glass enamels and separately applied silver alloy police eagle insigne and edelweiss flowers. Green glass enameled border with gold lettering 'Polizei-Berg-Fuhrer' (Police Mountain Leader). Superb quality. Reverse has typical German spring clip pin-back mounting and familiar Munich maker 'Deschler & Sohne, Munchen'. Foreman estimates a real one to be priced around $3k. EXC++++
