This is the badge that was bestowed upon foreign youth leaders or diplomats that had in some way contributed to the German youth movement. Separately applied frosted silver national eagle, fine glass enameling. Really superb and you'll be challenged to identify this gem as a fake. Reverse has horizontal spring clip pin-back with three rivets. Marked too on the back with the typical letters for this series 'DH'. EXC+++++
