US3454.)WWII USN PILOT'S WING: none finer, 3" full size wing with frosted gold application on genuine silver base. These early examples just radiate quality. Note that back in the day the gold plating used was genuine gold dust, sintered and baked on under a high temperature. So the gold application radiates a frosted gold sheen. And this wing is fantastic in its high relief detail, none finer. Reverse has horizontal swing pin with roller catch.
