US585.)WWII/KOREAN WAR ERA MINIATURE MEDAL GROUPING, NAME IDENTIFIED: handsome 11-place miniature medal grouping displaying Purple Heart Medal with two bronze Oak Leaf Clusters; US Army Good Conduct Medal with clasp having three knots for total of four awards; American Campaign Medal; WWII Victory Medal; Occupation of Japan Service Medal; American Defense Medal; Korean War Service Medal with four battle stars; US Army Reserves Medal; Korean War United Nations Service Medal; another medal which I believe is California National Guard. With miniature Combat Infantry Badge and miniature Paratrooper's Badge. These are mounted to a really old index card which is yellowed and aged so these have been together for a long time there is no doubt. Clutch-back distinctive insignia for the 187th Airborne Infantry Regiment (served in Japan Occupation and in Korea during the Korean War). Also this paratrooper's issue name tag 'MOYER'. This grouping came out of a large Florida collection which we have been offering over the past several months. Neither the CIB nor the airborne miniature badge is sterling. EXC++++
