RD668.)SPLENDID NSDAP REICHSLEITER'S VISOR CAP: fabulous old quality visor cap for NSDAP-Reichsleiter. Displays a perfect profile and shape, high peak. Tailored of a quality political leader's mustard-brown HBT wool. Piped around the crown and around the upper/lower borders of the brown velvet cap band. Piping is the proper micro-braided metallic cord and is perfectly fitted with a seam that's hard to locate. At front are stamped gold metal alloy NSDAP national eagle and what appears to be a genuine period wreath with separately applied swastika cockade in center. Smooth brown patent leather visor and gold celleon chin cord fastened at sides with gold pebbled buttons. Interior of cap is lined with brown satin-like fabric and has genuine brown leather sweat band. Inside crown is clear moisture shield -- the proper stiff construction like old photographic film -- that is printed with hat maker 'Hatrika, Sonderklasse, Stirndruckfrei' (Special Class Pressure-Free Tailoring). Sweat band is embossed with 'Deutsches Leder'=German Leather. Nothing on this cap glows under a black light. Just and outstanding old cap of the highest quality. EXC++++
