One expert condemned it (reluctantly) while the other handed in a 'not sure' verdict. This badge is of the highest quality and just radiates age and originality. Silver frosted nickel-silver wreath now handsomely toned with years of patina. This is an exceptional piece. Spectacular nickel-silver eagle motif that's gun metal blued. So crisp and finely detailed, polished silver swastika. Reverse has high quality 14mm wide barrel hinge and long, blunt pin. Two absolutely perfect, domed, rivets on the back. Engraved with pilot's name 'W.Lahnor' and 'Goslar Trustweg' (the huge Luftwaffe airfield and training complex....still exists today although abandoned). Marked with familiar maker 'W.Deumer, Ludenscheid'. Just outstanding. EXC++++
