RD972.)KOREAN WAR/VIETNAM WAR US ARMY 1st CAVALRY DIV M-1 HELMET: I love this helmet. Genuine rear-seam Korean/VN War era shell with its original 1960's rough sand application intact. Impeccably hand-painted 1st Cavalry Division patch design at front which I'd say was added very skillfully by some clever artist. Khaki canvas duck chin strap with black finished hook-and-claw release buckle. WWII era liner with VN War dark OD webbing. Dark brown sweat band shows darkening from use, soft and supple and intact. Crown on liner is CAPAC MFG maker marked. With post-war brown leather chin strap snugly fitted over shell's front visor. EXC++++
