US3634.)COMPLETE SET OF WWII US ARMY ARMORED DIVISION SLEEVE PATCHES: these are all WWII type Schifflli machine embroidered on twill with period narrow khaki borders, cut-edge. White 'snow' on the backs. Includes the Armored Force HQ's patch (the first one shown without a number) and also included are the 17th, 18th and 19th Armored Divisions which were organized on paper only but never activated. Genuine period patches were produced for the three divisions as part of the enormous Allied deception scheme (phantom divisions). These three patches are quite desirable. Clean lot over all, some removed from uniforms. Total of 21 patches. EXC+++
