Both patch and scarce/desirable matching teal-green 'AIRBORNE' tab are the early Schiffli machine embroidered types (like a WWII period patch) with so-called period cut-edge. With 'RANGER' tab above, also early cut-edge construction. All three pieces are certifiably early VN War era. EXC++++

Note that the teal-green 'AIRBORNE' tab is the super-early example circa 1963-1965. Later examples were on the more familiar black twill.
