RD1086.)CASE ONLY GERMAN CROSS IN SILVER: clever and dangerous old fake and one made to deceive. It's convincingly aged and worn. 4" square black leatherette, hinged and with functioning spring button catch at front. Note the silver embossed border around the lid that indicates that this case is for the silver level of the German Cross. Interior is lined with the correct black velvet and is slotted to perfectly hold the hinge/pin assembly. Upper interior is lined with padded white satin. Just radiates age and quality. This is one of those old fakes that's so good that you'd consider it genuine but for us telling you otherwise. EXC++++
